Reducing the risk of future floods and droughts requires a close linkage between policy, water management and technical tools

Project approach - Desicion Support System (DSS) linking risk identification, impact assessment and water management within a disaster risk framework aiming at strengthening the preparedness for flood and drought events now and in the future. It was presented during the 1st Asian Science and Technology Conference for Disaster Risk Reduction, 23-24 August, 2016, in Bangkok, Thailand.
