Guideline for Interpreting Climate Information for Application in Water Safety Planning

This serves as a guidance document to assist water utilities to analyse climate related data and incorporate those findings into their water safety planning processes. Methods of analysis include frequency analysis and simple averaging to determine if the physical condition within the water utility is wetter or drier. The analysis is not intended to be too intensive or complex, so as to encourage water utilities to use the Flood and Drought Portal and the methods of analysis presented within this guidance document.
